Ghostface Killah, born Dennis Coles, has also used the names Tony Starks and Iron Man in his works. He joined the recording of Wu-Tang Clan's album "Enter the Wu-Tang" in 1993 and successfully became a member of the group due to his outstanding performance. After contributing to the soundtracks of the 1996 films "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While You're Drinking Your Juice in the Hood" and "Sunset Park," Ghostface Killah released his debut album "Ironman" at the end of the year. With his accumulated reputation, the album debuted at number two, breaking the million sales record. Despite the success of his solo debut, Ghostface Killah remained dedicated to Wu-Tang Clan's album recordings for four years. Starting in 2000, Ghostface Killah released an album every year, with eight of them becoming best-selling works in both the UK and the US.

In the 1990s, the Wu-Tang Clan, which dominated the rap scene on the East Coast, can be regarded as the most representative group in the gangsta rap genre.
